Cernilli Construction is committed to honoring the privacy of visitors to our websites. We will provide you, our customer, with outstanding products and services.  To achieve this goal, we must collect, store, maintain and occasionally use certain personal and financial information.  Such information includes data about you, as well as the users of the web site(s), and this statement is directed at those sources.  We recognize and respect your privacy concerns and expectations about this information and as such we want you to know about our privacy policies and security practices.

Cernilli Construction utilizes the service of different web hosting providers to handle the hosting and maintenance of our web site(s).  When referenced, the “Web Site” and any Internet hosting functions, refers to the services and security provided by those various companies.

1. Disclosure of Information

Originator data: We do not sell or otherwise provide information to third parties about you unless you specifically request us to do so. If you order services that are provided by third parties (e.g. credit reports, appraisals, etc.) we will pass information required to fulfill the order to the vendor that you have chosen.

Consumer data: We obtain consumer data when consumers visit the web sites, apply online or complete other online transactions. In addition, we obtain consumer data when you upload or input consumer information on our web sites to order settlement services or perform other transactions. We, and our web hosts, will not sell or otherwise provide information to third parties for their independent use without your express permission.

When additional services are necessary we will need to pass consumer data to those providers to fulfill the transaction. While we take every effort to ensure that those vendors protect your privacy and your consumer’s privacy, we make no representation or warranty regarding the services provided by these third party vendors. The vendor may need to collect and maintain personal information and they may have additional terms of use (including their own privacy and security policies), which you should read to fully understand how your personal information would be used by third parties that are partnered or affiliated with our Company.

Privacy of Email Information- We will not sell or distribute your email address to third parties. Email information is requested only so we may communicate directly with you. We do not promote or tolerate unsolicited communications such as “spamming”. 

Information from minors – We take special care to protect the safety and privacy of minors. As such, we specifically do not collect information about children and all of our services are designed to be used by persons over 18 years of age.

Exceptions – We disclose information whenever required by the Federal Privacy Act and other applicable state and federal laws.

A major priority of our Company is to provide security for the information attained by us from our clients and consumers. We employ industry recognized security safeguards to protect personally identifiable information that you or your clients have provided to us from loss, misuse and unauthorized alteration.

We work to protect personally identifiable information stored on our web servers from unauthorized access using commercially available computer security products, such as firewalls, security blocks, alarm systems, as well as other security procedures and practices. This includes web servers that are stored at our corporate headquarters and collocated data centers.

Use of Firewalls and Virtual Private Networks

We utilize firewalls to safeguard our web servers and corporate network systems. This allows us to protect and monitor these resources. We also enable virtual private networks to restrict access of certain transactions to authorized customers or third party companies where possible and practical.

Use of Cookies

We do not design, develop or deploy cookies for the storage of your personally identifiable information. We do, however, use cookies to store information to help manage the use and security of our system.

Use of Encryption

When certain (financially-sensitive) personally identifiable information is transmitted to us through our hosted web sites and stored in our systems, we provide you the capability to transmit data between browsers and our servers that allows encryption of your data. Data transmitted via our products are protected with SSL (Secure Sockets Layer) technology. In order to use the site, users are required to be running an SSL-capable browser. MS Internet Explorer 3.0 (or later) and Netscape Navigator 2.0 (or later) are all SSL-capable browsers.

Use of Authentication

Your information is also password protected by a user name and password of your choice. User IDs and passwords apply to the access, use and/or administration of our products, as well as the maintenance of information. Many of our products use digital certificates to certify their authenticity.
